What Was The Question? (A Nonsense Poem)

Rating: 5.0

I have the answer- -
What was the question?
Behold the dancer,
Is my suggestion.
Her neighbour hands her
A book of fashion.
Please take it back, sir
Is her persuasion.
My friend with cancer
Is called Sebastian.
He's filled with languor,
But also passion.
In rides the Lancer
With a concussion.
This poem is, I'm sure,
At its conclusion.

Just engaging in a game of wordplay. We poets have great fun with this. The poem is nonsensical, and carries no deeper meaning.

An entirely fun read. I love nonsense poetry. Me thinks it wakes up the brain cells just a little. We just don't have enough of it these days... As Robert Frost once said so well, " Forgive me my nonsense, as I also forgive the nonsense of those that think they talk sense." tfs

Ah, Becca, fear not the Lancer. He has a concussion from an ill-fitting helmet, and unless you are a dragon or a knight from a rival kingdom, you have nothing to fear! Thanks for reading & commenting!

This carries definitely a deeper meaning and wise person can understand this. Always you share brilliant ideas. A book of fashion should be taken back if found not suitable. This is thought provoking poem...10
