By nature, he is very shy and friendly
His sturdy hands are always ready
To help anyone at anytime
A friend of everybody.
There are times when he is in a party
He cannot resist a bottle of whisky
At first he will join a toast with everybody
With a glass so tiny.
A couple of minutes, the whisky
Settled in his tummy
He would suddenly
Start to talk so loudly
And ask to have big glasses of whisky.
He went into overdrive
As the effect of whisky lingers overnight
He feels like a King
And acts like a King.

Alcoholism! Changes the status of man. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
A stand alone poem Rose Marie of alcohol and its affects and sometimes the perils involved, if only people could sometimes drink in moderation then this beautiful blue planet would be a more beautiful place on which to live.10++ and added to my most sober and alcohol free cabinet. He feels like a king and acts like a king' the effect of elixir Mam.
Liquor-crowned. Some men are like that. Interesting poem Rose. Five stars
This is the effect of liquor..... it boosts the beast out! A gentle man by nature when intoxicated under whisky acts in a manner totally different from his usual self. A silent man all of a sudden becomes loquacious...! A man who saves everyone in trouble forgets even to save himself and lays aside road rules and speed limit! Through your beautiful poem, you have proved how excess liquor is harmful to man.....! Five stars!
A great depiction of the transformation that too much drinking can cause.

They say that alcohol makes one brave, letting the drunk do anything he wants even if it hurts other people because he is dominated by an intense feeling resulting to rage. Well crafted, ate Rose....10++
