Who will give me good night kisses
now that we are through
Who will text me in the night
now that there is no more you
Who will greet me to my day
with a text and a picture too
Who will fill my empty heart
now that there is no more you

Maybe he will feel remorse, regret, and will return.... But if not, he wasn't really worth it, anyway, if he did not appreciate and cherish you. Perhaps he was the interim person, the stepping-stone before the one who truly will love you with devotion.
**** four stars ;) Now I may/might read A Fallen Tree by Howard The Motivational Poet Simon. See his comment below. : )
AF, 'Who will greet me to my day'..........I'd use 'welcome me', not 'greet me', sister. I say it is more grammatically correct PLUS you get an alliteration, 'will welcome'.
What a lovely poem of love and loss. A great write that most of us could relate to. Very touching.
Thank you dear poetess for reading and commenting. I'm happy my poems are relatable. :)
Missing a loved one, feeling it and expressing the feelings, not so easy, but Aqua Flower manages it like a flower.
