Wondering Forwords - Poem by Bharati Nayak

Wondering for words
Thoughts wander
They delve into the soul
To find a meaning for
The purpose
Storms and cloud brusts
May sometimes
Blow away the words
Wash away the emotions.

I allow the steam
To form a cloud
Let the cloud meander
Let it hover
As long as it wishes
Till it gathers enough water
For a surge of downpour
On the white paper
And write a new story.

Topic(s) of this poem: emotions, inspiration, life, rain, writing

I love this poem. It is such a wonderful and poetic expression of the patient waiting for the right words to enter our mind, our heart and soul. But then, when we manage to make it quiet enough inside, the clouds pour the words as a streaming rain. Such a good and nice image. (Report)Reply

Every thought is wonderful and every minute thought carries words of expression. Every minute sequence of emotion carries meaning. You have beautifully presented your thought in a skilled manner. (Report)Reply

    clouds
    gathered
    here
    on
    the
    ether

    rains
    are
    getting
    ready
    to
    fall
    down

    storms
    are
    in
    frolicsome
    mood

    my
    love
    in
    happiest
    movement
    of
    facebook
    gossiping

    I'm
    and
    my
    pen
    how
    wonderful
    alone
    by
    seeing
    far
    dark-blue
    barking
    sky
    ...../// beautiful poem

hi, bharati! i'm waiting for a surge or downpour myself. i haven't written much in a while. but no matter. particularly with the poems that make me marvel at what has come through me, i feel like a channel or receptacle. so there's not much to do but wait. hoping you're well in all ways,
    glen
