Oh this Wuhan virus,
A virus so perfidious,
Once crossing a Wuhan street,
It'd our best defences beat.
We might take all human care,
But tricky some crossings there,
We might check both-way traffic,
And crossing then double quick,
We might take all the due pain,
And still the feeling was sick,
Of getting hit by airplane,
Imagine, in a street, hick!
Traffic teemed with such deceit,
Beware it's a tricky street.

'Beware it's a tricky street' - yes, indeed! The disease that this tiny virus causes is very painful. No fight is harder than the fight for oxygen to feed the lungs. This virus chokes its patients to death! That serious thought apart, this poem is written on a lighter note. It requires good skill to write one like this.
It is indeed amazing how the great Poet can conceive a humorous poem out of the deadly virus. Brilliantly penned. Loved reading it! !
