Yearn Ye Yarn Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Yearn Ye Yarn

Rating: 5.0

at dawn, some cantabile verses
which adorn magical effects
as droplets of water-pearls
kissing solemn meadows

in a middle bleakest-hollow sky
rain-tornado strongly brews
rumbling frantic clouds
returning very slowly

summer star’s sparkling brightly
through a depressed darkness
at last drawing wonderfully
a vivacious rainbow to us

(dedicated to a great poet at poemhunter, Ashes to Roses)

This piece has some sonorous metaphors and I loved the 'water-pearls kissing solemn meadows' - - lovely imagery throughout and deserves more than 10 - - best wishes from Fay.

The poem describing the various scenes, right from dusk to dawn, highlighting on the top of all the rainbow scene is well composed.
