Yellow Blossoms Poem by Nosheen Irfan

Yellow Blossoms

Rating: 5.0

Flowering into yellow gaiety
Full of cheery aroma of spring
Trees have the friskiness
Of a maiden fair
They flirt with the sunshine
They wink at the sky
They invite the wind
Into the feverish arms of love
Yellow blossoms smile
Holding the gazers in a rapture wild
Dancing with the freedom
Of evening breeze
Mystifying the passers-by
Into an adoration deep
Lovely blossoms!
To imagine thou shall go
As all mortal things are wont to do
The gift of spring,
The ardour of love
Thou shall be my morning thought
And my sweet romance.

Very playful, cheerful, frisky tone to this enchanting nature poem. It was a joy to read, it invited me to go outside and enjoy our spring.... and flirt right back at it! ! ! ! Very very nice write! ! !

Nosheen, this is perfect. Flowers and beautiful women have a lot in common. The way you develop the metaphor is flawless.

And my sweet romance! The beauty of nature is the beauty of love and life. Nice work.

Another stunning photograph. This is so full of that celebration of renewed life we associatwe with spring. And you fold several themes together: the freshness of nature, the charm of young women, the joy of musicand dance. The word that sums it up is AN ADORATION DEEP. There is something sacred that all this sensuality embodies. It's as if nature reaching its most complete expression in spring also opens the gates and admits a spiritual presence that parallels its physical presence. I feel that union of the physical and the spiritual very strongly in your Poem of Celebration.

Oh Nosheen, Beautiful little poem. More beautiful is accompanying image of flowers: This is the official flower of Kerala, the Kanikkonna in Malayalam.
