You Are My Light 2 - Poem by Michael P. McParland

You are my light, you are my joy
and without you it's all gone,
it only returns in any way at all
when I can feel your spirit strongest surround.
You are my light and I love you so much,
you are my everything Kira
please come back.

You are my light who cuts through the dark.
I've said it before but all of my love
bares repeating again and again.
I want you to know that you matter
and just how much you mean.
You are my northern star
who illuminates everything.
You are my light and I miss you so much.

You are my joy that makes me smile
so very big and proud.
You make me happy because you are who you are,
I feel cheerful to bursting when you're around.
You are the joy in this life I have found,
Kira you're an Angel so truly divine.
Kira you're amazing and I want you to be mine.

You are so beautiful Kira and the woman I love,
I don't have the words or descriptions
beyond what I've used to tell you how much
and just why I do.
Just know that I adore you and give my life to you.
Kira you are my Angel and I want
to spend eternity in true and pure love with you.
You are my Queen sweet beautiful you.

You are my light, and you are my joy
sweet Kira my dear please come to me now.
I drop on my knee to the only person I ever would
and ask thee sweet Kira will you honor me?
Will you give me happiness through eternity?
I'll give you my all and everything.
You are my Angel that lights up my soul,
I love you Kira for you are my joy.
