In ancient times the Moon was the highest mortal object: above the moon were the perfects spheres, the saints and angels, the throne of God. Below the moon we live in alternating darkness and light, with good and evil both assailing us. But - BUT your poem floods this vexed existence with H-O-P-E in the truth of human love You've made me a believer! ! !
