হ্যাঁ, জানি তুমি আসবে
ওই দেবদারু গাছের উচ্ছাসিত যৌবন ছুঁয়ে
ওই হিমালয়ের ধ্যানী গম্ভীরতার স্পর্শে
ওই পর্বতের শীতল ঝর্ণার স্রোত ধরে
চড়ুই, শালিকের গুনগুনানির তালে
সাদা সারসের নির্জন প্রস্থানে
কপোতের নিঃসঙ্গ ব্যঞ্জনাময়ী বাকবাকুম ডাকে
পদ্মার রুপালি ইলিশের প্রাণবন্ত সাঁতারে
নৌকো বাইচের গানের সুরে সুরে
বর্ষার গুড়ি গুড়ি বৃষ্টির শেষে শারদীয় হিমেল সমীরণে


জানি তুমি আসবে
হ্যাঁ, জানি তুমি আসবে
এ মনো ধ্যানের গতি বাড়াতে
এ হৃদয়ে অমর প্রেমের মশাল জ্বালাতে
জীবনের পড়ন্ত বিকেলের আগে
যৌবন সূর্যের অপার্থিব পূজ্য উদয়স্থলে
