Your Teachings
Oh Teachers! You are beyond everything,
Your impressions are imprinted on every human being.
Knowledge is transferred from generation to generation,
By Your teachings.
What a precious gift you are for the society!
There would have been no scientists,
No doctors, no engineers, no philosophers or writers,
Without your teachings.
The value you implant on young minds,
Helps to shape their character,
And makes them good human beings,
All because of your teachings.
Be it military or on the sports field,
No expertise is attained without teachers' help,
The whole of mankind is indebted to you, oh Teachers!
For your teachings.
Several years ago I decided that, for many students [at least those still dependent on living with parents or other 'guardians'], providing sdhool days 'babysitting' service trumps 'teaching'. Ha! bri : )
It's not just 'the teachers' which 'teach' students. Other students, books, lunchroom workers etc. etc. can add to the students' 'education'. : )

There is no denying that we start learning early, and our inquisitive minds are attracted to who can satisfy our thirst for knowledge and wisdom and who can be better than teachers. Crafty poem as a tribute to TEACHERS.
It's a fine tribute to those teachers who have earmarked their life and knowledge for social uplift. Teachers who are interested only in their personal well being are a curse

I thought I already mentioned that other students, lunchroom workers, books, etc etc can be 'teachers' about life and all that surrounds us. : ) bri
