A Child Of Forbearance....
the wind in the willows,
are playing with the grass beneath,
what day is it today,
that heat of today?
Such a beautiful day,
let's play in the hay
or is it still too cold?
It is still spring
and this midnight the pains came,
our cute second grandson,
is helped by the midwife,
how sweetest is his appearance,
I see in him a child of forbearance,
two days ago on Tuesday I told my daughter-in-law,
I have dreamt about she and the baby,
she smiles introvertly and says:
let's wait and see,
the baby is still in my belly....
Epilogue:
Thank you Lord, that you are always with us.

….we have all the time for our grandchildren. Nice poem. The beautiful image of spring and stork visiting together……loved it. Top score poet.
A child of forbearance, yes, both on the part of the child and the mother. I remember, some research done in UK that says: the more is the labour pain, the higher is the forbearance of the child, his personality and character... no labour goes in vain. But today we go against nature and opt for modern science to intervene even when it is not necessary...
In spring season you thank Lord, our affectionate greatest father. By his mercy you have become grandmother. Lord is always with us and he gives us sweetest bless. A Child Of Forbearance is a beautiful and heart touching poem...10++
Congratulations, my friend Sylvia, for having chosen as POD. An accolade you truly deserved.
A heartfelt poem so beautifully written. Grandchildren are the crown of grandparents. A brilliant portrayal of the joy and pride of a grandmother.
Congratulations on being PoD, I hope your grandchild is doing well.
