Changes his color
Often like a chamelion
To intimidate
His rivals and the people
A vile political scheme.

Your powerful pen has beautifully expressed too much power in ones hands. Time is wasting.
Sometimes, democratic leaders are better at being chamaeleons than dictators. Either way, most are as slimy as snakes. You've summed up this beast so very well, Rose Marie!
So very true.We really never know who a politician is until it is too late. So concisely but masterfully written, a poem that brings truth in its purest state
An apt metaphor for the treacherous beasts we know as the politician. The Are venomous chameleons, those that try to have integrity often sacrifice it for approval and power. Liberal or Republican it all seems like the same monster. Thank you, so succinctly and delightfully written.
Powerfully written message poems need to be reread so its message will never die or diminish. 10++ and thanks again Rose Marie.

Well said and I thoroughly agree Rose Marie. There are too many so called 'caring' politicians who are really wolves in sheep's clothing. 10++ and added to my favs. Thank you for reminding us with your more than fine and powerful poem. Thanks again and take care good Rose Marie.
