A Prayer - Poem by RAJ NANDY

A PRAYER

In my imperfect life many things have
remained unsaid;
So many deeds have been left undone!
Yet I see the sun the moon and the
stars that shine above,
All performing to perfection; -
Obeying YOUR will with utmost devotion!

Despite my imperfection and unperformed
deeds,
YOU have not ceased to love me still!
Now with the evening drawing near ;
Please accept O Lord the scented flowers
Of my love and veneration,
Along with my prayers of thanksgiving,
So that I am not held guilty
of unrequited love!

    This Life is a great puzzle
    To solve its Intrinsic roots
    One has to study within
    Thats the real Prayer.

    Wonderful perception
    True self realization
    Dear poet, this prayer
    Is straight at his feet.

    He is the greatest lover. He is the creator of all lovers. He loves devils and saints both. I am His devil poet. Insanity is my dress. Immorality is my religion.I disobey Him. He still loves me, because He is promised bound. He can not break His promise. I can, because I am not HE.
    I am in conflict with HIM. I shall set fire on HIS throne. I want to see HIM weeping.
    Thanks for your traditional piece.
