A Prayer Poem by RAJ NANDY

A Prayer

A PRAYER

In my imperfect life many things have
remained unsaid;
So many deeds have been left undone!
Yet I see the sun the moon and the
stars that shine above,
All performing to perfection; -
Obeying YOUR will with utmost devotion!

Despite my imperfection and unperformed
deeds,
YOU have not ceased to love me still!
Now with the evening drawing near ;
Please accept O Lord the scented flowers
Of my love and veneration,
Along with my prayers of thanksgiving,
So that I am not held guilty
of unrequited love!

He is the greatest lover. He is the creator of all lovers. He loves devils and saints both. I am His devil poet. Insanity is my dress. Immorality is my religion.I disobey Him. He still loves me, because He is promised bound. He can not break His promise. I can, because I am not HE. I am in conflict with HIM. I shall set fire on HIS throne. I want to see HIM weeping. Thanks for your traditional piece.
