.. An Eye For Eye.... Poem by Eyan Desir

I really like this! Its relatable, creative but not so comlex and filled with illlutions that I can't understand. It has a lot of emotion in it but you managed to keep it balanced =)

The poem is pregnant with angry emotions; but well composed and to the point. I like expressing anger in words and on paper; it is therapeutic and if controlled it can produce a good poem. On a minor point, please correct some spelling mistakes: split for splited; whiles for while; An Eye for An Eye! ! ! ! for! ! ! ! an eye for Eye. Thank you for inviting me to read this poem.

Give me back..... why? I ask. If you gave it, then let it stay that way, with whomsoever received it and have the joy that there was something worth giving in you that another has received. Ronald's comments below are helpful. I'll go and read him.

revenge is the starngest form of self harm. Why is it so important that we feel we should pay someone back for a precieved harm they have done us instead of being grateful for the lesson they've given us.

Eye for an eye yes what a vengeful wrath a thing that can tear nothing but the heart
