An Impertinent Question Poem by Nosheen Irfan

An Impertinent Question

Rating: 5.0

You want to hug her
You want to kiss her
You want to make love to her
You want to praise her
Sing songs for her
Write poems on her
You see sunshine in her eyes
Taste honey on her lips
Drown in the waves of her hair

But why is it so hard to respect her?

Very pertinent question, Why is it so hard? It is male ego that prevents him to acknowledge what women deserves. Our world is far from perfect, and too often are women still seen as less than men. A THOUGHT PROVOKING POEM. Full marks for this poem.

Aloha Nosheen... Cheers and Happy New Year... The past is through with the present... It is presently time for this presence to consider the future...There is a question though... Impertinent is defined as... not pertinent to a particular matter; irrelevant... Perhaps the title should fit the question? of pertinence rather than not... seems like the pm posse missed the gist of your prose... kinda, sorta, maybe... All of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations... Michaelw1two

I don't find antonym of here. Your poem nicely addresses the opposite facet of true love. Top score and to my favourite! !

Yes, if only he could respect her person and potential then praise, pleasure and poetry could perhaps be mutual and be one of the most wonderful aspects of life.
