An Ode To Poetess Sylvia Frances Chan
Sylvia Frances Chan,
A fine, refined poetess,
Sweet and charming,
A lady of many talents
And flair for languages.
Sylvia speaks Dutch fluently,
She is proficient in English, German,
French and Malay too.
Hailing from Indonesia, she enjoys
Conversing in her native Jakarta dialect.
Sylvia is an evangelist,
Praising God for His glorious deeds
His innumerable mercies,
A devotee of Lord Jesus Christ with
Absolute trust, faith and devotion.
Sylvia holds on to her beloved mother's memory,
Ever thankful for her guidance and love.
She lives happily with her family in Netherland,
With her husband, children and grandchildren.
It is a blessing to be surrounded by a loving family!
Sylvia is an artiste who projects life through her paintings,
She breathes joy into her graceful, powerful creations,
Be it art or poetry, with coloured, winged expressions.
The moon is her symbol of love, elegance and exuberance!
She smells the sun and feels the wind with every breath of life!

A gentle, sweet life,
A contented, creative life,
Above all, a radiant life full of bliss!

Thanks for this special ode to a deserving poetess. What inspired me the most in the life of madam Sylvia is her believe in God. In an age where people are now ashamed of declaring their beliefs, madam declares it with pride and even reflect it in her writings.
