As We Watch The New Year Start Poem by Mary Nagy

As We Watch The New Year Start

To start the New Year off this way
surrounded by our friends......
is just what we had hoped for!
Let's hope this feeling never ends.

We've found ourselves a home here
a worldwide family.
A place for all lost souls to meet
and share their poetry.

If last year was a clue for us
how this year's gonna be....
We're in for such a special year!
Let's see what it can be.

We've got people from the U.S.,
Australia and U.K..
China and then Canada....
too many more to say!

The differences are few
when we look within each heart.
Let's try to love eachother
as we watch the New Year start.

Happy New Year Mary, and I hope 2006 will bring us happier days minus tornados, hurricanes, etc. This was an awe inspiring piece.
