At The Edge Of Heaven Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

At The Edge Of Heaven

Rating: 5.0

Like an ocean wind
It flows into yr eyes
And stings them with the salty air
You can't get away
Because yr legs are frozen deep
To the shore
But you need to carry on
As the heavens are opening
And waiting for you are
Everyone you have ever loved
Step by step, on the stairway to bliss
You are welcomed
Now, you can have yr final rest

Captivating and ethereal, there is a sadness but a warmth, the final wave of death carries us into that ocean of eternity. Beautiful work LeeAnn

Amusing. To sum-up in one word. Entire life's philosophy to reach heavens so well written. ***********
