Breathless Poem by MAHTAB BANGALEE

Breathless

Rating: 5.0

Breathless
Where apartheid
Kills the rights of human
Loveless life where practice hatred
So-called civilized culture where nurtured
There God is sniggering role guard
In hunger realm where death
Can live as live
Breathless

The man-made maladies continue to haunt human-kind: apartheid, hunger, poverty, climate. The pity is apartheid, where man sees the other man differently, continues decades after Gandhiji, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Bishop Desmond Tutu..

You have so brilliantly, succinctly and profoundly summed up the ugliness and evil of apartheid. 'There God is sniggering role guard'...priceless!

We all get disillusioned with life sadly. More than 50% people would agree with it. Well articulated.

Man is perverted. Culture and thinking and understanding and knowledge can subdue his perversion… but not of everyone… quite a disturbing point, pertinent… top score, dear poet.
