Devi Shakti! The awesome Goddess!
Full of glowing vitality,
Full of vibrant energy,
Divine manifestation of valour and strength!
Shakti shines brightly like thousand rising suns,
She glows with red brilliance covering the entire universe,
She creates the universe - a projection of her mind,
She shoots the five elements through the arrow of her mind.
Shakti holds various weapons in her numerous hands,
A trident, a spear, bow and the arrows,
A thunderbolt, a bell, a discus, a conch,
A noose, a string of beads and a pot.
She is blessed by Sun's brilliant rays of light,
A sword and a shield by the mystic hailed as Time.
Shakti has arrived seated on a magnificent chariot,
Sparkling with jewels like sapphires, emeralds, rubies,
Set to kill the evil demons - Madhu, Kaitabha, Raktabheeja,
Shumba, Nishumba, Chanda, Munda, and Mahishasura!
She is the Saviour! upholding righteousness, destroying evil,
Sensational and dynamic Goddess of victory and celebration!
A beautiful poem that expresses in brilliant detail the wonderful attributes of Goddess Devi Shakti, The Goddess Of Victory. Well crafted, informative and full of images. Five Stars! ! !
Set to kill the evil demons - Madhu, Kaitabha, Raktabheeja, Shumba, Nishumba, Chanda, Munda, and Mahishasura......these are all vices killed by Devi Shakti. You have so nicely and astutely delineated this poem. Thank you Dr Geeta madam for valuable presentation. Full vote - five stars.
There is such a wealth of color in your poetry- -making your verses as rich as a tapestry and as rich as a house of treasure. Top marks.
So many heads and so many hands, everyone representing an unique property of the creator. Give any name to the creator but if it created all the best name can only be a mother. A poem to read and understand.
