Do Not Tell A Lie Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Do Not Tell A Lie

Rating: 5.0

'Do not tell a lie,
Do not tell a lie, '
This way the mother
Repeatedly advises her little son,
Hearing this,
The son thinks for a while and then answers,
'But lie is the bedrock of the modern world, '
The mother becomes stunned.

In spite of all the liars in this crazy world, I sincerely believe that most people are honest and decent. We shall occasionally tell a little white lie because we aren't saints.

Why should I tell lies? A poor man who believes in truth is million times better than a rich liar. I can't say much
