Rating: 4.6

A pile of firewood
On our neighbor's wide backyard
A winter fuel.

The fire of wood has natural beauty, and anything that is close to nature is beautiful. A lovely poem.

Arousing Nostalgia, dear poet. In the childhood, during winter mornings, how we would burn firewood to keep us warm! Nice haiku. Top score.

This is really beautiful. You write it do well. Your bonefire is alluring. Beautiful Rose.

When I read the poem and as if I watched a movie then I know for certain that it is a good poem. Your 12 words brought me back to childhood: In addition to the fire the fireplace warmed the frozen fingers of children. Some were crying with pain, but they all had a smile at the end. Thank you

Sitting around a burning hearth is a heart warming experience in winter chill. Nice Haiku!
