ईश्वर और सैनिक
Written by: Anonymous Americas
Bhagavad Gita talks about four kinds that remember God. One suffers from something and he wants his suffering to go. The second wants something or the other; the third is plain curious jijnyasu; but the fourth wants nothing and still remembers Him. He is the true devotee, and very rare. Lovely correlation drawn between God and soldier.
A very deft interpretation based on the teachings of Srimad-Bhagavad Gita. Thank you so much, Sir.
God and the soldier All men adore In time of trouble, And no more; the beauty in your writing is EXPLICIT After War soldier just does idly sit o what a mist
God is remembered when you need something. In times of trouble and anguish, you approach God. But then, when your kitty is full, you forget God. This is the general tendency of people. Exceptional poem and translation, Rajnish ji. Thanks for sharing....10
A beautiful translation of an equally beautiful poem which boldly expresses a vital truth. A soldier is praised when he wins a war or for a heroic deed. But then, he is forgotten. The widow of the soldier suffers a life of loneliness and neglect. This fact, i have closely watched as my father, brother, uncles and cousins, all have served the armed forces.
God is ever grateful to and thankful to creatures as we feel we also thank him. During troubles people call God. They need soldier also to protect themselves. This poem is very interestingly penned and translated.10
