What concord we see
In the Earth and the ocean,
Sleeping in embrace
That embrace is eternal concord indeed. Beautifully expressed in the poem.
Earth and ocean brought together in harmony in a sleeping embrace, both of one accord, allowing each to be what they are, a melody, a symphony, of peaceful acceptance. Lovely Haiku, Valsa. Love it! 10+ Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
Concord and harmony add to the beauty of this world. We see many signs of harmonious union in the Nature. You have expressed it well...spirit of harmony is what keeps this world intact.
The Concord among Earth and ocean is so amazingly portrayed with a feeling of harmony. Brilliant haiku.
If only humans could synchronise themselves more often to the heart-beat of Nature, and feel how harmonious every thing, and every creature lives on this planet, we would probably have less psychological problems, and no war at all. This is a wonderful haiku!
The ocean caress the earth with soothing waves, and they sleep in an embrace. This haiku brought a sense of peacefulness to me even before I reach the last line. Simply brilliant. Thanks Valsa
Concord is possible among earth and ocean. Insightful presentation astutely done. Beautiful haiku.
The earth and ocean never meet, but when modelling for the artists, they show a beautiful harmony. And when a poet sees them embracing, he is inspired and he is amazing. Could I convince the fighting enemies, show harmony for the sake of your children, the lovely artists and poets of the future.

I was re-reading William Blake's 'Marriage of Heaven and Hell' where he writes one of my favourite lines in all literature - 'Without contraries is no progression'.. Here is something that is (if not entirely) contradictory and yet in 'concord' - the earth and the sea (water) - two of the five elements are seen in agreement to live peacefully, and thus there is a harmony. If this agreement is broken, then the water can hit the earth and break it. Maybe it is about human beings and the contradictory virtues we have - let us take something like good and evil - there is no denying that both exist in us all, but as long there is a right concord between them, there is harmony, once that is broken, we lose our peace of mind. Beautiful haiku Valsa ma'am. Thorougholy enjoyable :)
Beautiful analysis! Thank you Souren!
