I find it irritating when someone asks me to repeat what I said. Did they listen properly? I often think they did not. Conversation is an important art.
A great philosophical write. Thought provoking. Cleverly penned succinct write.10++++
So kind of you to have visited this page with a very positive feedback.
Both the version are excellent. In the first version love has been given priority. As without the lover the body turns stiff remembering him. In the second due to physical deformity may be reason. Enjoyed.
This is an excellent analysis- comparative & comprehensive. Thanks, Anil ji.
Rajnish ji, both interpretations are profound and most philosophical. Brevity and brilliance combine to make this a super write.10+
Thank you, Geeta ji. This was just in the passing that I thought of changing the tenor of the poem.
when i cant hear you my body is deaf, my soul is frost... I think when we fail to listen to the nature our body becomes deaf and our soul is turned in a frost. Both the translations are beautiful.

The original poem articulates lack of love that causes damages to body and soul of an ardent lover.....while, your version speaks of a deformed person who can hardly avail love! Both the versions have different significance! A brilliant write!
