Ibu Kartini: Indonesian Heroine
The strongest and most powerful instrument
is her overused pen,
I am talking about Ibu Raden Ajeng Kartini,
she didn't wait in the darkest place,
but leaped forward to win the race,
education for girls and higher education,
and women's independence
next to her husband's position
and, of course, freedom in the truest sense of the word
such a mental prison is absurd!

2) And so very tragic that she died at the age of 25...four days after the birth of her son. Really looking forward to reading your three sequels, poetess friend Sylvia.
Like Nosheen, I too did not know about this Indonesian heroine. Sylvia, your beautiful tribute grasped mine attention... so much so that I went to my trusted friend Google to find out more about her. What a life at such a young age!
