In some time, somewhere down the line
A few years from now when you look back in vain
Maybe you will realize the trail of destruction
That you left behind, a behaviour so inhuman
Insensitiveness that screamed, heartless
You were when you hid behind your invisibleness
In some time, somewhere down the line
A few years from now when you look back in vain
When time will reflect on your misdeeds
Your careless attitude, your selfish deeds.
your reckless thoughts your crocodile tears
which has engulfed me in a fog of fears
In some time, somewhere down the line
A few years from now when you look back in vain
Then when your heart seeks that solitude
I hope you find that strength n fortitude
For my thoughts will fill your heart
With a regret that will make your eyes smart
In some time, somewhere down the line
A few years from now when you look back in vain
When you step into my shoes n realise my pain
You may wonder from life what you have gained
The emotional damage that you have caused
For then you refused to care or to pause
In some time, somewhere down the line
A few years from now when you look back in vain
Seeking forgiveness when you seek me
I will be too far away for you to see
When the clock turns in my favour n things change
When you reach for me I will be out of your range
In some time...just a few years away….

For my thoughts will fill your heart With a regret that will make your eyes smart.... Seeking forgiveness when you seek me I will be too far away for you to see.... //.... There is no feeling of remorse, revenge or ill-will for the one who has parted ways but a bit of chance for that person to mend his ways to shore up a relationship before its final demise. Immaculate expression. Thanks for sharing.
Try to find that hope once again! And move on. Nice work.

An excellent poem to read! 'When the clock turns in my favour n things change When you reach for me I will be out of your range' - that's good, that's reassuring. You should not go close to the betrayer again! That's a justifiable conclusion.
