Introspection-07 Poem by MAHTAB BANGALEE

Introspection-07

Rating: 5.0

O dear, my beloved
you are beautiful
like the natural sky and innate horizon,
like the green mountain and wood,
like the independent skylark

you are beautiful
like the flowing rivers and flourishing flowers,
like the blooming mango buds,
like infatuating lyrics of bards

but o beloved your beauty lives inside
the true inside of you (not the blood, intestine, entrails, veins… etc)
need to know it
need to know its reality

o beloved you are not this body
yeah, note on it
this body is the cloth of you
merely cloth of you which fabricates your surface
your hair, head, eyes, mouth, ears, chin, throat, shoulder, hands, belly, waist, legs, feet everything is the part of the fabrication
every limb induces you to forget the true you
every organ forces you to stay busy with own demand to earthly affairs

o beloved
you are you, you are just thoughts
the thoughts which make your choice, doings, beliefs, growing up in the specific idea
the mind, the heart, the soul (the different name of you)
you have no frame, no shape
amorphous you are on this earth
but after wearing the cloth (physical body)
you take a shape differently
through different languages, colors, beliefs, thoughts, cultures.....etc in disguise
your disguise cloaks nourish you in diversions caste, creed, race...

o beloved now
you need to take off the disguise, the body(cloth)
to seek the real you

Beauty in its crystallised form has no physical body, but it is the essence and core of all that is lovely, virtuous and covetable. It is not tangible but an abstract reality! You have penetrated into the core of inner beauty! A profound write that deserves full marks!

Truly He is not manifest, it is man that gives Him form, colours, and clothes. Man has to transcend senses (indriyas) to see Him. You've referred to this indirectly, well done.
