It's 1 April
It does what it will

The winter disappeared,
it is spring,
but it rains and turned into snow,

the whole land is winter white now,
no more spring coat, but winter jacket again,
it is now below zero, yesterday it was almost summer,

you can't tie a rope to it,
because weatherman 'ut morn' has just been buried,
years of cancer, but didn't let anyone know,

now everyone has forgotten what weather
is it still winter or already spring?
April does what he wants to ring

and March stirs his tail,
oh, oh, to make you sick,
all boards and hurdles

all snow white,
wet snow on it, all with so much light
it's still so early just the 1st of April

this is real, not an april fools joke
and by the way I am happy and very satisfied
when this earliest morn in my Dutch poems Top I awoke

come on Syl,
it's only 1 April
do what you will
