After my lover has left for abroad
Happiness and gaiety are annoyed of me
Sleep does not visit me even in the nights
How do I, friend, put the angst of separation in words
How do I spend my life ahead
This world is no longer dear to me
Without him, I've become desparate
How do I tell you, but want to live no longer
I have stopped adorning up myself
It is as if I have melted down in his love
Nights show me their animosity
How do I tell you, friend, about our love
I am by his memories deeply perturbed
When night falls, my peace disturbed
All hues pale, my life's become bland
How do I tell you, friend, the tale of our love
Since when my love has left me, lonely
I have become and lost my flair for words
My eyes are tired always watching the road
Until now, my lover has not returned.
My life is being spent thus
How do I tell you, friend, the tale of our love

thank you jaya. For reading the poem and for the lovely 10++ too.
Distance is very hard to bear. When lovers are separated by miles, the psychological aches become a routine. Life loses its colors n flavors and becomes one long endless journey of wait. Well expressed feelings.

Sleep does not come in separation of lover. Lover has gone abroad and life has fallen in loneliness. Feeling life's status is amazing definitely. Wonderful love poem is shared here.10
