Let Your Religion Be A Love Affair Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Let Your Religion Be A Love Affair

Rating: 2.1

With all the power of my being
I shall bless God’s holy name.
My soul, do not forget the gifts of God.
- -
God pardons all your iniquities,
redeems you from destruction,
crowns you with kindness and compassion.

God Heals all your sicknesses.
He will not chide you.
He does not deal with you
according to your sins.

God will not remember the sins
Because God is love.
- -
From morning’s first light
to evening’s last star,
always remember
how special you are
because God thinks of you.
-
Let your religion be less of a theory
and more of a love affair.

Religion IS the best love affair! God is the best partner for both sexes. We were created to find this aim and achieve it! Attractive title and deep words! Congratulations on the poem of the day!

A beautiful spiritual poem nicely depicted and presented. The favourite lines are....From morning’s first light to evening’s last star, always remember how special you are because God thinks of you.....We must meditate God and remember him in which our sin will be deleted. Thanks a lot....10

We need more of your joyous singing of the Lord! This is religious emotion which embraces life and enhances its delights. You do not have any negativity toward people of different beliefs and they may find this emphasis on the celebratory very persuasive. And religions should be models of persuasion instead of force.

Blessings my friend, thank you for this wonderful share. The fact that you don't give a name and say simply your religion makes this poem itself a beautiful prayer of peaceful love.
