Limerick-78- Queen Poem by Valsa George

Limerick-78- Queen

Rating: 5.0

I sit in the glare of computer screen
Fanciful thoughts, I try to glean
I am a crazy poet
To the world a misfit
But in fancy's world, I am a queen!

Fantastic limerick. It requires a lot of guts and maturity to a cut a joke on such realizations. The virtual world created by computers and such gadgets imbibe such notions while facing the screen and creating some thing on it with clicks on the mouse', at our will. Thanks for the sharing of a thought provoking limerick and reiterating the reality that poets are misfit in a practical world.10 points.

A queen whose words are as clever as they are fun! not just a great limerick, but a good summary of a modern poet!

Let the poet pass a few happy moments, in an imaginary world, where there are are beauty and dreams for him.
