Limerick- Keen Observation Poem by Valsa George

Limerick- Keen Observation

Rating: 4.8

My neighbor's little son is so smart
In a write up on Grandparents, he wrote
"They never seem to hurry,
Any time, can tell a story
Before sleep, they take their teeth and gums out"

well, my friend, i like the story, and the kid's willingness to 'share' his grandparents' lives with his classmates, but..... how YOUNG would a kid be if s/he really thought (real) gums and teeth were removed? [esp. gums] and i think your treatment as a limerick is below par, especially for you! you must need me to give you some remedial lessons. when are you available? ? bri ;)

Children observe things more keenly than we elders do. Their comments and stories are sometimes so amusing! The picture too is so funny! I liked it. 'No one can withstand the ravages of time! - So well said, I quoted the words from your reply to one of the readers' comments.

This is a really wonderful limerick ma'am. Children say the stupidest thing, but boy oh boy, if anything else is more beautiful than those brats at work! Thanks for sharing this: -)

So full of laughter in its innocence. You gave voice to those sweet little observations of children.
