Limerick- Low Self Esteem Poem by Valsa George

Limerick- Low Self Esteem

Rating: 5.0

There was a girl named Dimple
Her face was covered with pimple
'I look awful
Ugly like an owl'
In shock Dimple would often grumble!

Well pimples are a real nuisance for girls. And we all get so conscious about them. We don't take pimples lightly but after reading this wonderfully humorous write, i can laugh about having a pimple. A10

Did she also have dimples? Just kidding. Although the limerick is funny, it's so sad to see how often low self esteem is linked to physical appearance. Personally, it's inner beauty that is most important.

In Urdu/HIndi it is said, boodhe munh Mahasey, dekho logo tamashe. (Pimples on an old face, enjoy the show.) . No problem when youth age comes it appears on all faces.
