Limerick R7 (Hindi) His Attire
He had worn a colored blazer on the Nile,
He had sported spats in Persia, just for style;
With a necktie quite too utter,
In the streets of old Calcutta,
He had stirred up quite a flutter for a while.
(Name of original writer not known)

Wow what a fantastic Limerick, I like to use the Nile in poems and I've been to Calcutta where my aunt lives. So I really loved your poem soo much. Kudos.
Thank you for your kind visit and for all your words of appreciation. This time, I have also given the Roman Hindi version of my translated poem. It would be my pleasure if you read the same too.
Great limerick, I like it! Too bad you don't know the original writer, would love to read more of him. Thank you for sharing it. RoseAnn
