I wish to have a sunny laugh from you
In this time of stress, it's long overdue
You may fall on the floor
And may crawl on all four
Ignore if some think, you have a loose screw
Superb limerick once again this is your fort in poetic world.
A great humorous limerick Valsa...like the way you have used the idiom 'loose screw'....Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar says in his Thirukkural 'laugh when in stress (idukkan varungaal naguga) ...congratulations...100
Automatically a sunny laugh is coming. A brillliant Limerick with laughter has been astutely delineated and amazingly shared.10
i'm familiar with the 2nd definition of goon**. [and a gooney bird is an albatross]. ** noun INFORMAL 1.a silly, foolish, or eccentric person. 2.NORTH AMERICAN - a bully or thug not bad as a limerick and humour! but i'd delete the 2nd comma i often crawl, usually to women & ice cream, bri (:
Ha ha ha, want just to have a sunny laugh like that, and 'crawl on all four' for a while. This is long overdue to me too! Enjoyed your limerick fully, Valsa. Well done!
Hahaha! A little admonition from teacher of sunny laugh. Thanks mam! We will try to be better be better! (I sure can use your advice Valsa) !
On the auspicious eve of Christmas, I wish you merry Christmas! Stay always happy and blessed dear madam!

Those talking of loose screw have not a token clue, Limericks, pink or blue, Are like morning's fresh dew. Perhaps you could have avoided an extra syllable in the first two lines, or may be a point I don't see.
Limericks, pink or blue, Are like morning's fresh dew...... Love these lines! Thank you!
