Lover’s Rhymes
mesmerizing melodies upon beloved hearts
where is a true love there are heavens
on sincere souls of fragile men
like Abu Nuwas’ spellings
magically hypnotize
O ye charming panorama
of humble delicate tune
your loveliest voice
pours mornings
and nights
if love descends
no one will be
betrayed
hurt or
left
soft
like leaf
as eagle’s wings
vigor and responsible
a simply clear and honest
beyond
sky and sea
vaguely emotion
enters secret gardens
of angels, saints and fairies
that’s why Red Sea also reflects
green
and tender
gracious as light
of full moon and sunrise
O ye sweetest smiles and kisses
flow in our innocent dreams and hopes
(dedicated to a great singer, Amr Diab)
A great poem and i really like this stanza because it is so true: if love descends no one will be betrayed hurt or left It is a good thing that you dedicate this poem to the singer Amr Diab...I hope he would see this poem! ! :) 10++....Merna
