Memories Poem by Rose Marie Juan-austin

Memories

Rating: 4.7

Remembering memories of yesteryears
Is our path towards our loved ones
Who are no longer with us
It can bring sorrow and joy
But it closes the gap
Between us in the meantime
Holding them near in our hearts.

Memories take us back to that space and time where we go and relive with the object of memories, 'path towards our loved ones' as you say so well.

Such a sad-sweet poem. So deeply felt, so beautifully and simply said. But so full of true sincere love and felt expression. Brought tears to my eyes. You're so right when you say, remember we must, it holds our loved ones gone, so much closer to our hearts.
