Mere amorphous dust in permanent suspension,
in mid-air, nearest to earth and the earth
of your soul MAN, I'm an emissary of some
higher order. What's left of daylight, at night
I turn down the borrowed light through
the darkness of night sky, low to cosmic bliss
as a torch for the benighted and as an
enlightenment of the sky.Though cratered by
imperfection, but free from sun's heat and rain's
coldness, I retain my splendour when visible
and attraction when unseen.Though ever still,
I keep my constancy under all my phases as one
and many.Beyond sorrow or joy as a bridge
builder between nature and man, I keep the ocean
under my sway, periodic menstruation, the surge
of lunacy and the storm-sunshine cycle.Clinging
to my debris I whirl in the dance of eternal
balance.
and many. Beyond sorrow or joy as a bridge builder between nature and man
The poets often wrote about the moon, but they use it sometimes as a symbol and sometimes as a physical reality, but this excellent poetry has mixed the psychological and material aspect of man and nature, really you are writing new poems differently. congratulation 10/10
