My Heart Bleeds! Poem by Aarzoo Mehek

My Heart Bleeds!

Rating: 5.0

I am frazzled, Completely entranced,
My heart bleeds in search of my beloved,
My agonizing cries envelope this universe.
Afflicted, I beseech my existence.

Love wrapped around my heart,
His name dancing on my lips,
Enchanted by my beloved's splendour,
I am held captive by His grandeur.

The fate of my being enslaved in thee,
Hardships can never make me flee,
I commence towards my final destination,
With a burning desire to meet my fascination.

Intoxicated by the thoughts of our reunion,
My soul burning to attain the salvation,
For that one glimpse of my beloved,
I shatter my existence to be loved.

The touch of Sufism in this poem makes it such a beautiful read. You have expressed yourself in lovely poetic language. Your choice of words is always impressive. My agonizing cries envelope this universe... loved every line of it.10 deservedly.

The poet has beautifully expressed the man's intense desire to meet that ultimate beloved. My heart bleeds in search of my beloved, My agonizing cries envelope this universe. Afflicted, I beseech my existence.

Intoxicated by the thoughts of our reunion, my soul burning to attain the salvation....appreciated this beat of naïve, pure, pious and candid poetic expression. This poignant poem has fathomless spiritual depth....appreciated!
