My Last Breath Ii Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

My Last Breath Ii

Rating: 5.0

Here I am, another morning sleepy
Three nights, I slept off and on
I can't write this poem
I am trying but my brain needs sleep
Maybe I should stop
But I can't
I'll stop when I have
My last breath

That's amazing, LeeAnn! Even with writer's block, you're still able to write a good poem! Awesome!

But rest and relaxation are necessary to keep fit. Relax and write. Beautiful poem.

An alarming expression from LeeAnn. " Maybe/I should stop. // But I can't / I'll stop when I have / My last breath"… A tad painful…

The 'breath' of poetry will not be stilled... I ponder that even unto death, some sort of it remains, taken into the dark as a small light to join the light of all. Write on, ever write onward.
