Old Photo
letting go of the old faded photo
it falls to the ground,
glass shattering in its frame
the old photo buried in brokenness
a once happy moment it captured
has soon become a faded, distant memory
leaving it laying broken on the ground
I walk away from the shattered, torn pieces
just as you did to me,
left me broken and shattered.
Emotions spilled upon the page in the form of words have painted pictures in the mind of a dreamer... Another very powerful poem... Well done...
