One Way Street
It was a one way street
A dead end with much defeat
who can endure a life with so much needing
I put bandages on to stop the bleeding
But the wounds need to be healed
and the truth needs to be revealed
my arms ache from holding the pieces together
while you just fluff your feathers
The troubles you create are not mine
I need to be free from you
it's time!

Freedom to unburden oneself and rest - may you find the chnage!
Not so much a burden when love and support is present. When there is no hope of remedy..that is when we have to move on.
