Poet Clown - Ποιητής Παλιάτσος Poem by Kostas Lagos

Poet Clown - Ποιητής Παλιάτσος

Rating: 4.7

I am a roaming poet clown

The smile and the frown

I wander the land of words

A peddler of the absurd

Exchanging laughter for tears

Hope and happiness for fears

And when my heart too heavy

becomes

I lay down, I sleep and snore

until it will pass

WOW! Snoring loudest to enlighten your heart which has become heaviest, that's the best solution a roaming Poet Clown will ever do. I have enjoyed very much your fantastic poem, dear Kostas!

A funny, sad and serious poem, heavy yet light. So while those trapeze artists are flinging each other through air, you keep us grounded with your inspiring poems.
