Prayer - 1 - Karma Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Prayer - 1 - Karma

Rating: 5.0

Kindly give me grace o' God
Keen interest I should have
Keep me on right path ever
Kindness should be with me.

Ken should be high and bright
Karma must be fair and good
Kibosh I mustn't have
Kill my wrath, greed and violence.

Killjoy I mustn't be, guide me
Kin should be treated well by me
Keys of sympathy and benevolence
Kindly give me to open the heart.

Knucklehead I mustn't be
Knowledgeable I ought to be
Kudos I don't want to have
Kindly lead me in true path ever.

Lead me from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge. A wonderful prayer.

A poem of requests to God, which gets my interest and holds it, all the first words of the lines starting with 'K'. We are better people, I think, without 'wrath, greed and violence'. No question. So many religious folk are 'killjoys', who spoil other people's fun: you are not like that. To gain more and more knowledge is a praiseworthy goal to have-knowledge is my passion. A glowing, prayer-like poem.
