Precious Words. Poem by Sandra Feldman

Precious Words.

Rating: 4.4

Words are freedom
When not stifled,
But even They
Are mortal,
When lies
Drip poison
At their, portal.

Words can definitely demoralise and at the same time rekindle a lost hope too.

I love the inference of poetry being immortal if not poisoned by immorality. One of the biggest reasons that poets are stifled under dictatorships! And in some democracies. The jury is still out on John Lennon! A most profound poem, Sandra!
