Had she ever truly been loved?
Or had men only used her for her beauty?
She'd had plenty of sex,
Now, she wondered if she'd only been
A momentary thrill, someone's plaything.
They'd whisper charming words in her ear
Until their agendas were achieved.
But then, she remembered
The one man who'd only gazed upon her
With eyes of adoration
Always the gentleman, he'd never taken liberties
He only hugged and kissed her, fully-clothed.
Quietly, he exercised self-restraint
And put her dignity before his desires.
With tears in her eyes, she remembered,
And grieved that he was now dead.
Very well written poem on female beauty and the sense of morality associated with it.

Beauty can be blinding to both man and woman - not seeing the feeling. A really good write, and a 10.
