Revolution
some people are a distraction,
Our world is coming to a distruction,
Everyone is a corruption,
Needing a revolution.
Government doesn't care,
For the slavory over there,
So many people are scared,
For what's happening everywhere.
Children are starving,
Families are in needing,
People are dying,
But no one is caring.
This needs to come to a stop,
The wrong people are at the top,
Too many are prone to flip flop,
But then I'm just a teenie-bop.
Suicide happens every day,
A lot of people are getting low pay,
Those people want to get away,
Or die today.
What is wrong?
This has been going on,
For very long,
Yet no one is strong.
Strong enough to stop this mess,
It's so sad - it's not even the best,
The wrong people are becoming pests,
But no one will confess.
I hope God will make things better,
For tomorrow to live and today a go getter,
And for people to live in peace forever,
And to have peace together.

So so great a poem not just for a 15 year old but for any poet. Still wonder at how you managed to match all those lines and yet make sense in every sentence. Lovely poem indeed, it reminded me of Tracy Chapman's 'Talkin' of a revolution' song. Keep it up Alicia.
