Satish Gujral (6) .... Hearing Regained & Renounced
There was time for a crucial change in life
of the artist when at the age the age of 72
Satish underwent a surgery for an implant
Which returned to him his world of sound
But his hearing was not as easy as it seems
He had to relearn the alphabet of sounds
He soon learnt the boon was an anathema
Instead of being a delight it became taxing
After spending 64 years in soundlessness
He could not tolerate the burden of voices
So much so that he took another decision
When at 78, he got that implant removed
It was coming back to the world of silence.
With the experience of sound he had revelry
But with silence mode, he was more at home.
